     Championships are the stuff of myth, fable and legend.  This podcast is not, it merely tells the stories of famous, infamous and almost famous champions, past to present.  Host Steve Marantz got his start at Omaha Central High's Register and University of Missouri's J-School.  His career as a reporter in sports and politics for newspapers in Kansas City and Boston, senior writer for Sporting News, researcher/producer for ESPN, and author of four books, led him to this rising populist medium.
